MAY 22, 2020
To the customers on Lee Ave., Stokes Ave., and Colbert St.
The Brodhead Creek Regional Authority will complete water line and fire hydrant upgrades along Lee Avenue, Stokes Avenue, and Colbert Street beginning in May prior to the Borough of Stroudsburg repaving the streets this fall.
On MAY 27, 2020, the Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (water department) will be installing valves and related pipe work on Lee Avenue, Stokes Avenue, and Colbert Street (weather permitting). Once valve installation is completed a new water main and services will be installed on Lee Avenue and Stokes Avenue.
Water will be shut off at 10:00 a.m. for approximately four (4) hours.
Once water service is restored, if you have cloudy water, turn on the cold faucet and let the water run for a few minutes and it should clear up.
We DO anticipate a boil advisory once water service is restored.
We will hand out Boil Notices on MAY 27, 2020.
